SALES MANAGER/DIRECTOR

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Minimum Experience: 3-5+ years sales manager/director level work, preferably in a real estate related field or in subscription based sales
  • Minimum Education Level: Bachelor degree or equivalent experience

Job Description

Responsible for growing subscription based products and services through managing inside sales representatives and sales & prospecting efforts.

Essential Functions

  • Ability to identify and attract new sales professionals
  • Implement and manage the new employee training curriculum
  • Provide on-going training, leadership and mentoring to sales team to ensure key objectives are met and exceeded
  • Drive sales activities to exceed sales quotas and revenue targets on an individual and team basis
  • Work cross-organizationally with Product, Marketing and Customer Success teams to implement sales initiatives
  • Manage sales compensation structure and forecast/manage staffing levels
  • Create and manage department key metrics and report to leadership weekly, monthly and quarterly
  • Work with Marketing to manage warm sales lead generation and the distribution to the sales force
  • Assist sales representatives with contract negotiations and escalated situations
  • Continually implement improvements to the sales processes by creating and testing new sales closing tools
  • Manage and improve sales reporting systems and processes, and prepare activity and forecast reports as requested
  • Stay on top of all product offerings at a granular level, as well as keep a competitive market analysis of competing companies

Required Experience & Skills

  • Proven sales management track record, with specific success in exceeding sales quotas
  • Experience managing a team of 30+ sales professionals
  • 3-5+ years sales manager/director level work, preferably in a real estate related field or in subscription based sales
  • Specific consultative selling technique experience with the short sales cycle
  • Proven experience leading, motivating and training sales groups to exceed goals
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills both over the phone and in person
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Experience with MS office, other software tools and navigation of the Internet
  • Professional, motivating, helpful and value-added management presence to empower sales representatives
  • Ability to jump into a fast-paced, results oriented environment
