Job Description

Through a consultative account review process, the Cancel/Save Specialist is responsible for retaining clients who are considering the termination of their subscription. Ultimately, the primary purpose is client re-engagement through teaching the subscriber how to effectively utilize our products/services and achieve a significantly greater level of success in their businesses.

Essential Functions

  • Proactively identify and engage subscribers who are at risk for cancelling their subscription and executing the retention plan
  • Determine needs of clients and design a customized solution to fit needs based on our retention philosophies and tools
  • Consistent communication via email, requiring proper grammar, spelling and punctuation
  • Deploy up-sell, cross-sell, renewal and save techniques
  • Maintain high retention rate and meet/exceed individual and team key objectives

Required Experience & Skills

  • Competitive, results oriented goal setter with consultative account management experience
  • Motivated by unlimited earning potential and recognition, and demonstrated ability to meet and exceed quotas
  • Experience with MS office, other software tools and navigation of the Internet
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills both over the phone and in person
  • Ability to multi-task and must be coach-able
  • Must be able to work independently on own and in team setting
