“I would like to tell my friends about my experiences with GetMyHomesValue.com.
As with all web customers, many are skeptical of putting their info on the web
site. The lead specialists are very good at deciphering between factual and
fictitious information on prospective clients.

“I have one listing from the leads that have came from GMHV, and I am currently
working on two more. I have found that the system does require quick follow up
with every lead, not to mention some due diligence on my part. The coaches and
support staff are very knowledgeable and seem very dedicated to making this
program work for everyone.

“In the current market, I’m glad that I have GetMyHomesValue.com on my Team!”

“Two weeks ago I received a call from one of my listing signs. A neighbor is interested in selling their home. I went over and did an initial consultation and was told that they would get back to me. I sent post card thanking them for calling and didn’t hear anything from them. I saw in getmyhomesvalue a pre listing package. I decided since I haven’t heard anything that it might be a good idea to do a warm drop by. I usually don’t do that, however, why not. Once I got there they invited me in gave me coffee and asked several questions and told me they have had several other agents that they were talking to. They liked the prelisting package and when I started to hand they a business card they said that they had three of mine already and mine is the only ones that stayed others in trash.

“They said that they would make their decision very soon on who they are going to use.

“I believe the warm drop by for me opened my eyes and will continue to provide prelisting packages again in the future.”

“Since signing on with getmyhomesvalue.com only 4 short months ago, my inbox has received a weekly flow of leads requesting real estate information. With timely call backs and persistence, I have been able to covert enough leads to already have 2 closings at the end 2008 during the season that everyone calls the Realtor’s holiday. I have also listed a home and will take both sides in helping the client purchase their next home, all in 3 months and 56 inches of snow on the ground. If you have at all been thinking about investing in your future and enhancing your lead generation business, getmyhomesvalue.com has really helped me with some quality contacts in real time that I would not have otherwise had, and has already paid for my minimal monthly fee for years to come”.

With home values hitting their lowest points in years, it’s important that you do everything you can to get the tip-top dollar for your home. But the best way to do that is to prepare long before the “for sale” sign goes up. Whether you’re listing the home by yourself, or utilizing a professional real estate agency; there are some simple steps you can follow to negotiate the best price possible.

How to Remodel Your Older Home to Increase Its Value

July 9, 2009

Need to Increase the Value of an Older Home?

Many buyers today love the charm offered by older homes, however, they tend to lack the modern conveniences that families prefer today. So if you’re looking to sell your old home, here are a few quick tips to increase it’s value.

1: The kitchen is often the gathering place for a home. For today’s buyers, it must be functional with modern, up-to-date appliances. Another way to add value to your home is to update finishes, such as drawer pulls, faucets and counter tops. If you’re thinking about doing a complete kitchen remodel, be sure to consult a professional designer to maximize the return on your investment.

2: Bathrooms in older homes tend to be small and scarce. If you’re looking to attract more buyers, consider adding a master bath. In smaller bathrooms, light neutral paint and updated fixtures go a long way. Most buyers are usually looking for 2-2 ½ bath in a standard three bedroom home.

3: Basements: If you got it… Flaunt it! Finishing a basement adds extra living space and therefore extra value to your home.

4: In older homes, closets are like bathrooms. Again they are small and not very abundant. Without adding a walk-in closet to every room, consider increasing closet potential with closet organizers and additional storage in the mud room, garage and pantry.

5: It’s always a good idea to check under your carpets for hardwood floors. Buyers prefer the charm of old hardwoods over carpet. If your hardwood floors are in good condition, they can be refinished fairly inexpensively.

6: Central heating and air-conditioning is a must have for homes these days. If budget allows, consider “green” options like geo-thermal and solar panels. Keep in mind that window units are unattractive and inconvenient and can lessen the appeal of your home.

7: And finally, look up! Remove any popcorn ceilings and any other dated, era-specific features like dark wood paneling and mirrored walls.

If you follow these guidelines you can increase the value of your old home and who knows, after all the updates, you may not even want to leave.

GetMyHomesValue.com Revamping CRM Software To Better Serve Subscribers

July 9, 2009

As a way to better serve its existing subscribers and offer an industry-leading solution to potential new customers, GetMyHomesValue.com announced the beta release of its latest version of “Prospect Maximizer,” a popular client relationship management (CRM) program for real estate agents, on Thursday.

Prospect Maximizer is a CRM tool originally designed by GetMyHomesValue.com in 2007 to meet the needs of real estate agents who subscribe to their lead generation and internet marketing services. Described as an easy-to-use, automated follow-up system, Prospect Maximizer can keep agents in contact and up to date with every lead they gain through GetMyHomesValue.com. Keeping track of scheduled events, calls, meetings and other communication with prospects is also automated through the system.

As the web has evolved, however, so have the needs of GetMyHomesValue.com subscribers. Last September, when Inc. Magazine released its list of the 500 fastest growing private companies in the US, GetMyHomesValue.com was rated the 16th fastest growing private company related to real estate. Earning that recognition was just one of the catalysts for the upgrade to Prospect Maximizer, which has become essential to GetMyHomesValue’s subscriber satisfaction.

“Our subscribers requested a faster, easier to use product for managing their contacts,” said Steve Young, co-founder and CEO of GetMyHomesValue.com. “Listening to our customers has always been important to us, but we knew we had to take things to the next level across the company after making the Inc. 500. With Prospect Maximizer, we found that we had an opportunity to improve create something industry-leading.”

In addition to a completely redesigned user-interface, the latest upgrade of Prospect Maximizer will include mobile device notifications of new leads and appointments, seller and buyer marketing tools, and a collaborative marketing project still in development.

An announcement of the official release of Prospect Maximizer 3.0 is expected in the coming weeks. Social networking websites like Twitter and Facebook are just a few of the places GetMyHomesValue.com expects to announce the launch of the newest version of Prospect Maximizer.

Access to the CRM has always been complimentary with a monthly subscription to GetMyHomesValue.com’s lead generation services. More information about Prospect Maximizer can be found at the GetMyHomesValue website.
