LANCASTER, PA – GetMyHomesValue.com, a Lancaster-based provider of cost-effective real estate service solutions, has been selected as one of the 2006 Central Penn Business Journal Business of the Year Awards Finalists in the “Emerging Business of the Year” category.
Central Penn Business Journal bases nominations on outstanding contributions to the Central PA business community as well as a company profile review by an independent panel of judges.

Winners in the different “Business of the Year” categories will be announced in an awards ceremony at the Hilton Harrisburg Monday, December 4.

GMHV Sends 11 Volunteers to Habitat for Humanity
LANCASTER, PA – GetMyHomesValue.com, a Lancaster-based provider of cost-effective real estate service solutions, is volunteering for the first time with Habitat For Humanity this Thursday, October 12.
11 volunteers from the company will participate, including co-owners Dave Conklin, Rory Wilfong and Steve Young.
“We’re proud to be able to help this vital organization by volunteering our time and energy.” says Wilfong. “It feels really good to give something back to our community.”
The 3-year-old company has made community and charity involvement a priority from day one.
“We continue to be a resource for the Red Cross when they need volunteers and we’re involved every year with Toys For Tots.”
Having an enthusiastic staff that values volunteer work has enabled GetMyHomesValue.com to continue to expand their involvement in the community. “We had 11 volunteers in virtually no time. There was hardly even a need for a sign up sheet. I’m really proud of our staff. They make it easy for us to increase our community involvement.”
